ALL Australians Day

"Australia Day"  Vs  "Invasion Day"?
NOPE!

We share this land... Australia belongs to all Australians.

"We have to stop with the 'white Australian' or 'Aboriginal people' and just be Australian, together, regardless of background or skin colour."

“Unity and redemption, to reconcile each other... to live together in harmony. That’s my dream, that’s my hope.”

And yes, it really IS that simple.

"Humans have this odd notion that because they were there first or won it in a war, they own the land... the Earth is 4.5 billion years old, we, humans, are a temporary blip in time towards the end of that, and will likely not be here in 200 years time... so let's forget the who owns what and acknowledge we (modern Australians) slaughtered the humans that were originally on this island and do what we can to move into the future with mutual respect" - Gary Hayes

"If you’re an Australian, your heritage is either Aboriginal, Convict, Immigrant or Refugee. I’m a Scottish immigrant, what about you? We’re lucky to share this great country. It’s given me an opportunity to have a better life. Always was and always will be" - Jimmy Barnes, Jan. 2019.

Hey... the children "get it"...

It's the adults
who continually instill labels/negativity/division/anger/hate/conflict... 😒
Children are not born with concepts of racism (or any -ism) - it's taught! And that's tragic.

“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion".

"We have to stop with the white Australian or aboriginal people and just be Australian, together, regardless of background or skin colour."

And yes, it really IS that simple.

We share this land... Australia belongs to all Australians.

    1. It's just so upside down, isn't it? It's discourraging. Children are not born with racism [or *any* -ism] - it's taught. And that's really sad.
