CD's Gone

The first four CD's have been packaged and posted. Because it's going to cost a lot less than I anticipated, we're only going to charge $5.00 shipping to anywhere. Much better.

I'm opening a PayPal account for the band. That'll make things 1,000% easier for people to purchase the CD online. I didn't realise it was so easy... my bad! Hopefully it should be up-and-running in a few days.

The band's website is up and running at 100% again. Just a server hiccup they've fixed. Whew.

It's been two months already since I first started the band webpage. Two months! That's gone quickly. And a lot of work... that's something I didn't want people not to have online access to! (That sentence doesn't sound right? Oh, you know what I mean...). So yeah... I don't want to go somewhere else and start from scratch all over again!

The website is a networking tool as it is. So yeah... it's easy enough to link to a zillion other music and bands' sites online that way :)

Catch-22... we really really need some good rain, and they're predicting some showers this evening and tomorrow. BUT... if it's raining I won't be going for a sail at Wallerawang. I'll play that one by ear.

Me and my grumpy mood swings... Matt dropped-in unexpectedly this arvo for about 15 minutes, and we had a great catch-up. Sure, I have my moments of frustrations musically with him from time-to-time (which I know my depression seems to zoom-in-on and exaggerate sometimes... it feels that way tho at the time...), but overall he's a nice bloke to hang out with. Hopefully we'll catch-up a bit this weekend, before Sunday's practice with Calvin.

Matt's looking forward to meeting him, but he's going with realistic expectations as well. We'll see how it goes with Calvin on Sunday... but yeah, Matt's keen to "give him a go" as well. It's all good.

I wish I didn't get so emotionally charged about my music sometimes... it's frustrating getting upset over things I shouldn't. It's part of my problem that I'm trying to deal with. It'll be fine. The bands' all good, all set to go, and ready to keep rolling.

  1. Ouch! That Sinfest is a cruel one today, don't you think :)

I popped over to the band pages to have a look round. You've got a lot of info up there; I spent ages reading. There were no problems while I was on site.

  2. It's hard not to be charged about something you are obviously so passionate about.
