'The Giving Tree' - A 2023/24 Photographic Project

Mal's Blog Post

2023 - 2024

➽ "The Giving Tree 2022-23" (ie. last season)
(for all the whats wheres and whys etc etc)

I love its deep maroon-coloured leaves. It hasn't fruited at all, perhaps as it is still too young?

I water it most summer days (twice or more at a time), hobbling across with my walking stick and trusty 9-litre/2.3 gal blue plastic watering can!
"I'm the crazy old man who talks to the tree!" ðŸ¤£

I'll be using this camera this year. ðŸ“·
The title reference is to the book, "The Giving Tree" 🌳

I know... it's not much but... [grins]

It's been a hot summer

OK, it's officially Autumn!

A few leaves have started to fall

We are way into Autumn and still nothing! It's a resilient bugger, huh?!

It's starting... leaves off the top branches: gone!

Down they come... some good windy days help
