I've started playing bass guitar (and some backing vocals) with a small club/lounge band here. The band is a group of friends who have met every Sunday arvo for about 4 years, who simply enjoy playing music, and needed a bassplayer. After a bit of positive networking connected us, I met and had a jam with them on Sunday... it's nothing big, dramatic or necessarily challenging, but it's just a simple way for me to get back 'into the game' again, albeit slowly.
