"Because you can. Because it is the only way to communicate with the entire world at one time should they choose to listen."
Thanx Ms Donna - very muchly appreciated.
"I too hope you keep it up and Mal...I agree with all of the above, take a break if you need to just to recharge but please don't stop blogging. I have a lot of friends who only read my blogs but don't comment, it doesn't stop me from doing what I enjoy because the main reason I blog is for ME to enjoy!"
Thanx Ms Wendy - very muchly appreciated.

In the end, I'm not going to 'stop blogging'... I'm just tossing-up exactly how and why I'm doing it at the moment, that's all.

A lot of it has to do with my perceived "levels of friendship" online... I'm still working thru some issues and personal boundaries for myself there. Obviously, I share a fairly limited amount of detail about myself here, for good reason. For people I have learnt to love and share elements of my life with online, it has taken a long time to build up to a certain level of invisibility and openness with. And for a small handful of those people, we've been good friends for over seven years now, for which I'm eternally thankful [some of those online friendships have existed way before I started my blogging journey, and I treasure them still]. But yeah... it takes me a long time to feel confidently comfortable to share elements of myself on here.

Yes yes, I sadly I'm "damaged goods" these days, so - ppfffttt! heh heh.

"My minds' not right" - Robert Lowell, 'Skunk Hour'.

Maybe all I'm trying to say is this, perhaps? I'm not quite sure what I'm trying to say, I'm just 'shooting the $#it' and thinking aloud, you know?

I think some stray people are reading some kind-of hidden agenda into all of this, like "1 + 1 = 34,567", but now really... let's hope we're way off-track there.

In the end, you cannot really know someone from what they say about themselves online. It's as easy as that. It's sad, but it's reality. Oh, I'm talking about myself, you know.

I could carry on about other perceived concepts of motivation for communication and dialogue people seem to have in their own extended 'oikos', but, no. Maybe another time.

Mal :)

  2. Thanks Mal, I can really appreciate where you're coming from, and sometimes I often wonder about who people really are, and if they have a hidden agenda or if they're trouble makers. Luckily we seem to weed out the trouble makers or toxic people pretty quickly.

BWO....words to live by my friend!

  3. Actually...you've given me an idea...I might post it on my blog, a "learn who Wendy is" type of thing Q&A style.

  5. Glad to know you will continue to blog.
Sometimes you can have people around you (physically) and still be lonely. So on line 'friends' become very important. I think I'll stop here before I get in too deep.
