Some local musos

Here's a few blurry photos (my little point'n'shoot camera takes a terrible low-light photo, but thems' the breaks!) of just a small handful of the muso's who've been playing at both Mt Victoria on a Tuesday night, and here in Bathurst on a Wednesday night.

This was Bridget, visiting from Canberra with her housemates on Wednesday here in Bathurst, who'd only been playing guitar for less than a year, and had never played in front of people before. "I broke my knee, so I had nothing better to do with being unable to walk or do anything for six months than to... learn to play the guitar!" Literally walking-in off the street, she awed us all with her strong, individualistic playing and powerful singing and songs. There truly is hidden talent out there!

Anita (from Bathurst) plays a gorgeously unique original style... a cross between... I don't know?! She sounds almost French sometimes, it's so lovely. No, really.

Stevie T plays Mt Victoria last Tuesday night. He's got a wicked sense of humour, and his style is a cross between Neil Young and Dylan - with a unique personal twist, of course..

These are "Mad Cowboy Disease" from Mt Victoria... totally unique gothic punk country drawl muzac! Like nothing else you could even imagine! They don't take themselves too seriously tho - thank gawd for that! It's very crazy music! "I'm a psychiatric nurse, so I spend most of my life with crazy people... and here's some of my songs...". Hahahaa.

So many various diverse styles can be found around here... it makes everything very interesting each time, which makes for good entertainment.
