Twiddling

Eddie's finding this current spell of warmer weather very draining for him... especially where he's working at the moment. He's installing some equipment just underneath the ceiling of a giant factory complex, right under a tin roof! It gets over 50c up there during the middle of the day! Needless to say, when he gets home, he just sits down and relaxes. I'm trying to make sure he's as relaxed and comfortable as possible when he gets home. I've gotta look after him - his missus will kill me otherwise! [kidding]

Last night we got out some piano-keyboards and starting fiddling with arrangements to some of the songs using that. Twas lots of fun. We were both so tired by about 9pm we were just laughing playing all sorts of silly rubbish - but fun rubbish!

I may have a bit of casual work coming my way as well... just a bit of light cleaning at one of the food processing plants in town, just two days a week-or-so. I tell you, feeling this good again after so many years is enlivening. The extra $$$ will certainly help! Living on the breadline for the past few years has been a challenge from time to time. Luckily I've been able to make ends meet - mostly!

Today I'm heading out to Carcoar to help with a bit of work cleaning the place up in readiness for this Sundays' Sailability (taking people with a disability out sailing). Just a bit of quick mowing and clearing the shoreline a bit, that sorta thing. It's also a chance for a few of us to catch-up together, which we don't get to do all that often. They're good people, so I grab the chance to hang out with them whenever it comes.
