Sun Arise

Upon first consciousness, I thought I was out camping in the middle of the Aussie bush...

The glorious sounds of early-rising morning magpies filled my ears, as the faintest glow peeked through my bedroom curtains. Even a distant cow bellowed a faint greeting, in the new days' beginnings. More echoing birdsong filled the awakening silence.

When was the last time you experienced a sunrise?

I'm so lucky to have an almost uninterrupted view eastward, right from my front door, across to the ridge that marks the Great Dividing Range...

This mornings' sunrise was simply breathtaking.

Makes me thankful to be around, to witness such beauty.
