I have been working on a new album of original music lately, "Purple Green Blue" (its working title)...
However...
Having just stumbled across this A-MAZE-ING album... I don't know why I'd bother continuing with mine!
A brilliant combination of the pop sensibilities of The Beatles, XTC, The Byrds... even some of the melodies, harmonies and arrangements are very similar to what I have been working on with my own new songs!
I swear - I have never heard of this album or band before, yet it... it encapsulates the styles, melodies, feels, sounds and production I would have wanted with my own album! It's almost subliminal, I swear!
I'm both devastated and humbled at the same time, upon discovering this album!
Mine would be crap in comparison.
PS. I can't belive it's been five years already since my first album came out!

Oh... the album I'm in love with, of course is...
The Red Button - "She's About To Cross My Mind" (2007 album)
I cannot praise this album enough. Enuff said.

"If The Red Button had been around in the '60s when I was producing, I would have signed them to EMI." - Norman 'Hurricane' Smith, The Beatles original and longtime audio engineer.
