A Quick One

Health test results came back inconclusive to the big "C" so far... but still they haven't explained exactly why I've still got a "pain in the neck"! heh heh. Tests are ongoing.

Spent a few great hours with my two youngest sons at a local car rally on Sunday.

Played a 30-minute solo set last night at The Kings Hotel here in Bathurst. An entertaining high-energy set was very-well received, considering everything I played and sang were 'originals' - normally I'd just play 'covers'.

Possibly making a few musical connections along the way for Julian and I to keep playing together... just possibilities.

New photos on the way as well.

  1. WHAT??? You better not have the Big C!!! That would suck in a major way!!! Hope they figure out what ails you and can fix it easily.
I'm glad the solo set went so well.

  2. Sounds like things are looking up a bit for you.
Inconclusive is good but frustrating finding out what the real problem is.

  3. That mustve been AWESOME to do that solo mate..just kewl :)
Fingers crossed that the C word does not come about...keep on playin'.

  4. yeah! No C words! I don't like them at the best of times! Perhaps you need a new pillow sweetie?

  5. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you

  6. Great to hear you did a solo with your own stuff!

Hope the neck pain turns out to be something easy to fix.

  7. A "No C" day is always a good day!!!

  8. I hope they figure out what's wrong prays are with you.

  9. Glad you haven't got the Big C! It's probably some lingering glandular thing from a virus- you might be fighting off an unusual bug, or it could be latent glandular fever. Steve still gets swollen glands and funny pains years after I gave him a big dose of the old mononucleosis. I used to get very tired for years after it and sweat like an absolute waterfall- but no pain from the swelling. Good luck with that!
Fantastic about the music- you have a real musical heart of you've written all those pieces- get them onto tape so we can all have a listen!

  10. Well that seems more positive news about the 'C' word, hope for your sake they get to the bottom of the problem soon.

I thought there was going to be a video of your solo performance- Maybe next time!

  11. Hope for you that the big C turns out to be a curmudgeon and nothing else...pleased to hear you are stil playing
