Jordan's Journey

I'm hoping to catch Andrew filling-in on bass with a local band he's playing with tonight. Thankfully it's only a 12-minute-walk door-to-door... I love living in a country town, you know! Let's hope I don't get frost-bound on the walk back home afterwards... it's a predicted 1c / 34f overnight. Huzahh for ol man winter!

Last night while I was watching my Manly rugby league team get demolished by the same team they demolished in last years' Grand Final, I downloaded an album I didn't have. Pink Floyd's 1970 album "Atom Heart Mother". Now my Pink Floyd collection is practically complete.

I still love my music, as diverse and eclectic as my 470+ CD's may be!

Jordan (a kid 'kicking cancer's butt') has been treated like royalty - and is breaking hearts wherever she goes - in her dad's latest blog post.

  1. Go Jordan, special girl, special family too!
I just love the country, nothing beat seeing our friends play in a band in the 80's in country Leongatha. And, the cold walk back home did not matter.. because the beer kept us warm , LMAO.
    Enjoy tonight Mal :)

  2. Jordan is so beautiful. What a wonderful family, pure love.

I think it is great that you can walk about. I hope you have a great time and don't get too cold walking home. The cold is worth hearing good music.

    Have a great weekend.
