The Night Before

Here's "The Night Before" 's current line-up. Mallard the Quackers, Julian, Eddie and Andrew.

This is Andrew, taken at last nights' band rehearsal. He plays like a demon and sings like an angel!

We certainly aint no "Boy Band", huh? hahahahaaa!

I only managed to remember to take just three photos at rehearsal! Typical, huh? Next time when we get together in the daytime... my little camera seems to take much clearer photos without its flash. The joys of a little point'n'shoot camera, but I appreciate it all the same.

Another great band rehearsal last night too... Andrew came with a whole stack of new cover songs to try, and we had lots of fun working thru stuff we hadn't played before. That's always a refreshing thing to do - brand new material.

I went to start the car to load my music equipment into it last night... it wouldn't start. Hrm... first time in the three years I've had it that anything has gone wonky with it. I tried again... battery went fffzt! Long-side is that I had to get a new battery from NRMA for $135. Luckily I had the cash sitting here at home, just by chance... car runs perfectly fine now. Norty car batteries - they don't make 'em like they used to! lol.

And despite Sydney receiving a zillion mm's of thunderous rain over the last few days, this evening we accidently discovered about five large drops of water splashing on our windscreens out this way, if we were lucky...

  1. Our battery flattened itself yesterday too, at the school. Lucky Phill was home and drove the old bomb down and powered my car up again. The battery isn't that old and Phill thinks its the alternator. Man batteries have gone up since we bought my one!

Glad the band is going well. And as for a "boy band", I'm sure you're all boys at heart. ;)
