Sunrise

This mornings' sunrise, taken over my back fence. Gawd lone knows why I was up and awake at that hour (maybe just another hot night, perhaps?)... but the colours in the sky were too spectacular to miss.

  3. Red sky at night, Shepherd's delight.
Red sky in morning, Shepherd's take warning.

I had a similar sight at my place yesterday morning followed by a mackeral sky. Big storm clouds on the horizon on way home yesterday arvo. Get the washing off the line, zip up the tent (which has become my night-time sleeping quarters) and then???

Nothin. Diddley-squat. Not even a spit. An overcast sky just meant it stayed pretty warm all night.

My once flooded creek crossing is now as a dry as a dead dingo's donger.

  4. How beautiful! No nice sunrises or sunsets for me at the moment. We're having snow!

  5. Lovely Mal.

Caroline same thing happened here, we got a clap of thunder and then nothing.

  6. We received about 30 minutes of what-sounded-like good rainfall late yesterday... yet it was only about 3mms! Go figure!!! The majority of the huge thunderstorm that'd been building up all day just missed us (basically), and we just copped a splattering from the very edge of it. Bugger!

  7. That is so beautiful. What a great shot. Even I would get out of bed for that. WOW.

Take care and keep finding the beauty in life. It helps as I know being with your adorable sons does.

    Take Care.
