Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day.

Whoever your loved ones are, celebrate your life together with them.
Valentine's Day or Saint Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14 by many people throughout the world. In the West, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery. The day was originally a pagan festival that was renamed after two Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. (Source)
Happy Valentine's Day... but not for everyone.

I'm feeling a little better today... this glorious rainfall is totally refreshing. I can't believe that a few days ago I was sitting here sweating it up, yet last night I was watching the cricket on the tellie for a bit - wrapped in a doona! The joys of Bathursts' weather.

I've made no decisions about the band as yet, but I'm not going to do anything drastic about it. But somethings' gotta change. And yes, I still honestly think we sound awful at the moment.

  5. Sounds like you could be improving with the milder weather. Don't disband the band any time in the next 6 weeks- just keep pluggin' away. It'll pick up. The jazz band I played in really sucked sometimes but people still danced and larked about- they just wanted entertainment. When we were good they sometimes stopped to applaud- but they still partied on. I liked the free dinners...
