I'm feeling tired this morning, for some strange reason...

4am this morning... BLING! My eyes open and the brain immediately starts working overtime... so I start downloading songs and lyrics, and writing and sending emails about the new band member and new songs and all sorts of stuff! Admin stuff... admin and organizing people and all that stuff.

Calvin yesterday

Here's a whole swag of stuff we'll start exploring together. Most of the 'Calvin' songs we played together easily enough at yesterday's rehearsal, and most of the 'Mal' ones we do already. So when our drummer (Julian) gets back from his two-weeks of romantic bliss on the love-boat (lol), it's all going to gel-together really easily - and sound great! This stuff'll help make us sound a lot less 'harsh' - and that's a good thing. Plus we can start culling our older material at last! Whew.

Yes yes... LimeWire is sensational, because I've now got copies of all of these songs to give to the guys! Seriously - it was never this easy to get copies of songs and lyrics when I first started playing in bands back in the mid-80's... there was no internet then! People have no idea how easy they've got it these days (oh my gawd... I sound like an old fart saying that, huh? hahahaha!)

Finally having a 'real' vocalist makes me laugh in another way... now we've got to re-do our band photos and Press Kit as well! We've gone from three members to four. It's no biggie... we can just add a cover letter with the Press Kit. Doing more group photos will be more fun anyways!

Goodness! It's almost 8am... that's 4-hours 'work' done already! Is it lunchtime yet! hahahahaa.
