Whoo hoo!
Looks like the hair bringer for a coming bloody-cold winter!!!
It turned really cold at about 3pm here (1c / 33f), so I guess that storm went on and dumped snow on the high ground east of us. Hence the road closure.
I hope our drummer Julian is going to get home OK... he's spending the day in Dubbo... that's off in the opposite direction, and hopefully that road will remain open for him.
If it's snowing near here, I can only imagine what it must be like up in the region where WillowtreeDingo and Caroline live! They are much higher up where they live. Very pretty - but very bleedin' cold.
Just as well we went sailing on Friday and not today, huh? heh heh

I didn't even know that australia got snow. I just thought it got a bit chilly...interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't made up it's mind to be warm or cold...were going back to the 40's this week after having 70 degree weather here. Ahhh Michigan.
Snow!!! I forget thqwat you bloody fellas live underneath us!!!!!!! We're just starting to thaw out!
ReplyDeleteUnusual being so early in the cold season, certainly! But what a difference 24-hours makes weather-wise... today [Tuesday] has been warm, sunny and almost windless! Practically Spring-like, but it'll be cold tonight ... -3c / 26f !!! Brrr! But no more snow in the foreseeable future.

Even here to the west of Port Macquarie it got down to 6 degrees and now at 6am hovers at 8... very invigourating I must say. I grew up in the upper hunter where Willow tree and Caroline are brr my hands would be frozen to my school port by the time I got to the bus stop...
