Rewarding

I've been busy mixing, recording occasional overdubs, mixing, re-mixing... it's time-consuming, but really rewarding.

Only about another 14-or-so songs to go. That's three out of four sessions done and dusted! Yeah!

Julian and I caught-up for an hour on Tuesday morning, to finalize the nuts-and-bolts of the band "Press Kit". It's all running according to plan. There's also a possible local gig in 3 or 4 weeks as well. Good good good.

The boys are away in Sydney for the first few days of the school holidays. I can't wait for them to get back so we can hang out a bit more. Yeah!

  1. Do any of your boys play any instruments? Maybe later in life they could be part of "The Night Before".

  5. You seem so talented with music. I hope you will share or sell the finished product with us. I have been enjoying this journey.

I deleted A life of triggers and now going under Wishing and Discovering, under my first name Cheryl. Middle name is Eileen. Decided to be real and focus on more of the positives. Hope you will visit.

When the boys come, do they enjoy music too? Seems like there is so much you can teach them.

    Have a good weekend.

  7. There's two of the newer demos online now for you to have a laugh at.

My second-aged child plays a bit of guitar and piano, but only tinkers with it. The elder boy loves his 'doof-doof' music, which i can cope with - thankfully he's not into any of that bloody death-thrash-metal crap!
