I Cried - this is truly tragic

The family of missing Perth boy Imran Zilic has confirmed that police in South Australia have found his body.

It has been located down a mine shaft, about 50 kilometres south of Coober Pedy.

The three-year-old toddler had been missing since April 21, while he was on an access visit with his father, who is in police custody in Perth under mental health laws.

South Australian police say formal identification of the body is a matter for the coroner.

They will seek extradition of the boy's father Aylia from Western Australia. (Source)

  1. That is horrible. There have been so many stories here with roughly the same theme.

and I saw the news the other day - that little Natalie McCann has been missing for a whole year. I feel so horrible for her parents.

  2. This is so terrible. I love my kids so much that I can never imagine something like this. If that dad did this, well, I don't know what I hope. I hope he doesn't get near any kids ever again. If it was an accident (which it doesn't sound like) I hope the parents can find peace somehow - although I know I never would.

  3. These are the stories that always make me cry, too, and want to get home as soon as possible to hug my kids. In fact, I'm gonna go give 'em a hug right now . . .

  4. Menta Health incarceration... how come the poor bloody kid was handed over to someone who had mental health issues...or did he just discover this after he killed him. I would bet the mum was so afraid of handing him over, but the law says you gotta do it.

Maybe it was more of the case of possession...if I can't have him all to myself then no one will.

Poor little boy... the biggest betrayl of all to be killed by a parent.
