Having a small jam/rehearsal Friday arvo, which'll give Matt, J and myself a chance to look at the new guitarist/singer's material on our own. Good stuff.
JD goes back to school tomorrow. Year NINE already! Gasp! SJ and Ix returned on Tuesday without any dramas whatsoever. They were looking forward to hanging out with their school friends again. That's the joy of them being in a small school... and by small, i mean 30 students in total, from kinder to 6th class!
The Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Songs of All Time site - yes, a list! I already had 40% of them... but now I have 100% of them, thanks to LimeWire! [grins and blushes]. It was hot last night and I couldn't sleep! Anyways... that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! muwahahahaaa.

Oddly that's a pretty good list. I can't say I agree with the order of it, as I never agree with anything RS has to say...but its a good list.
ReplyDeleteThat's the beauty of lists like that... they are always open to personal slants and preferences! I'd change the order of quite a few of the Top 40 or so myself. but as far as a fairly good representation of pop music over the past 50 years, that's not too bad. Lots of older stuff, which until now i knew well but didn;t actually have in my possession. Now i do. Cool.
