Saturday Good Day

I had a relaxing day out on the water, at a practically-deserted Ben Chifley Dam (near Bathurst), yesterday. Although the wind was practically non-existent, I had a wow of a time just being out on the water. There's nothing quite like pottering about on the water, you know.
(Edit)
Yeah, pottering about with a small dinghy on a beautiful inland lake on a glorious sunny spring day does sound kinda amazing, huh? [giggles] I'm so spoiled. I was sitting out there at one point, practically becalmed, but I felt so happy I burst out laughing! It's been a long time between drinks for me. My like is pretty dull in many ways. So days like this shine very deeply in my psyche.

Then afterwards I spent a good ninety minutes at the new local Aquatic Centre, just lazing about. Actually I had a really good swim. I felt like I had the whole 25-meter lap pool all to myself... there's not many people there at 6 o'clock on a warm evening! I left feeling somewhat tired, but totally invigorated and refreshed. I've gotta do that more often!!!

Here's some photos I took on my aimless walk on Friday, enjoying the glorious sunshine. Along with some sensational old homes, there are spring flowers blooming everywhere!

Even sitting here, I can smell the large flowering bush beside the front windows wafting in happily on a light breeze.
