Personally, they're what I'd describe as "they'll slowly grow on you" kinda indie rock music.
Already, Eddie and I agreed we could easily do their song "Revelry" (off their last album) in the band. Cool. Something current for the punters, you know... plus something we can do justice to. We haven't decided who's gonna play what on it yet, but I hope I get the bass part, because it's a nice bass line to play!!!
While the worst of the bushfires seem to be past, it's definitely not over yet... but as the death toll passes 130... I just don't know what to say, I'm so absolutely staggered with the horror of it all.

ReplyDeleteGlad you have some creative stuff to lool forward to. The punters love covers at the rissles, so go for it!
here in Michigan our reporters are saying 160 fatality's.
ReplyDeletevery sad! It makes it more sad that it might have been caused on purpose.
I look out my window at the gum trees and i can imagine what it would feel like to see a wall of flame coming accross them... I thank God that none of mine were hurt, but in saying that I am full of sadness for those who have lost loved ones or had them injured...or have lost their homes...I think I wouldn't cope with that, but if it happens you have not much choice.
ReplyDeleteThankfully the fires are out around here! Lots of rain today! Keep on making music, its so good for the soul! Hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteI've heard of Kings Of Leon but I've never listened. If it has to slowly grow on me..I probably don't have the time right now to cultivate that relationship :)
ReplyDeleteGlad the fires are about out, we've been hearing quite a bit about them over here.
