The guy who found it handed me a 'Lost-and-found card' with my address on it direct from the Police Station. I guess he was just being community minded? I've written a Thank you "Letter to the Editor" about it, just to let people here know that there are still good people out there.

I was too stunned at the time to do anything more than shake his hand and sincerely offer my thanks... I didn't even get his name, let alone an address, of the guy who found it! D'oh!

Cyalayta
Mal :)Mal Kiely [Lancelots Pram]https://www.blogger.com/profile/09550832509641597913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1899193538457209754.post-30815266579264954272008-03-07T01:36:00.000+11:002008-03-07T01:36:00.000+11:00Where I live - you would have never seen that wall...Where I live - you would have never seen that wallet again, the cash would have been gone before it hit the ground, and there would be 50 people out there filling out credit applications in your name by the end of the day. What a disaster. I have lost a few wallets in my day, it is never fun. I am so glad you got it back.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1899193538457209754.post-17813498587067832742008-03-06T13:19:00.000+11:002008-03-06T13:19:00.000+11:00Thank God about your wallet...i just panicked when...Thank God about your wallet...i just panicked when we went to get food and i could not find my debit card! I had missplaced it my wallet but it had me scared for a couple minutes.

I wonder why he just did not bring it to you, rather than take it to the police station, since he went to your house anyways.♥Caroline♥https://www.blogger.com/profile/00364909664839680979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1899193538457209754.post-44503160712748058612008-03-05T23:15:00.000+11:002008-03-05T23:15:00.000+11:00Lovin' that Helen thing Mal.
